My christmas haul is... well... nebulous.

$500 budget to bring the 944 up to spec however I see fit and can manage before Further Confusion.

So... in no particular order...
  • Get the power removable roof working fully.
Strip the rear cargo area, slice into the vinyl headliner under the cover to remove and replace the control cable, replace the motor while it's accessable.
  • Get the passenger-side window working fully.
Strip the door down, test the wiring, test the motor, replace whichever part failed.
  • Get the heater working fully.
Disassemble the entire dash, replace three motors, dismount the intake headers and relocate the heater control valve and replace it with a newer model, replace all assocated hoses.
  • Re-gasket the oil/water intercooler to fix the damn slow leak once and for all.
  • Swap the oil and coolant over to full synthetic mixtures, since I'll have to drain the engine dry to re-gasket the intercooler.
  • Remount the rear spoiler and clean out under it completely.
  • Remove the purpled after-market tinting and repair the defroster lines if needed.
That's my christmas present, so to speak. :-)
